What this is.
StaySeatedPlease is geographic intelligence for occupying interesting rooms legitimately — through a small purchase or free public access. It never promises social access, networking, or guaranteed anything. It describes environments accurately.
The method
A Seat is PLACE × TIME × PURCHASE × POSITION × CROWD × PURPOSE.
Primary coverage cities
Three per state, chosen for population and economic gravity — for coverage, never as a ranking. Nearby communities borrow the nearest guide honestly: “you're near X, using Y as the guide.”
Three data layers
FACTUAL (observable), EDITORIAL (scouting guidance, labeled), AI-GENERATED (labeled when it exists). They never blend silently.
Verification states
VERIFIED (confirmed + dated) · PARTIALLY VERIFIED · SEED-UNVERIFIED (default) · NEEDS VERIFICATION. Every pilot entry is seed-unverified.
Live status
LIVE appears only when live data actually backs a field. Everything else is CURATED or EDITORIAL. An “open now” ping never implies a free chair or a quiet room.
Location privacy
Geolocation is optional, requested once, used approximately. Precise coordinates are never stored or displayed. Manual search always works.
Area codes are context
Overlays share regions; codes span rural expanses. They orient you — they don't locate you.
Live data status
Providers: places (static) · hours (static) · weather (static) · events (static). No live data is connected in this build — every Seat is honestly CURATED or EDITORIAL.
AI Mesh gateway (http://127.0.0.1:8787): disabled. Part 1 runs offline. Enable the gateway in a later phase for explanation, discovery, and quest-generation assistance. Never send personal data to external providers.
